The protocol converter converts signals from a fire alarm system or building management system, for example, into a protocol for a paging system from Ascom, Philips, Nira and others to specification.<\/p>\n

Converter settings are adjusted through a Configuration Tool. This is a Windows application that can be run on a PC.<\/p>\n

For diagnostic applications, this PC can also be used. For quick diagnosis, the ProtocolConverter V3 also features an LCD display showing the possible source of the fault in text.<\/p>\n

The protocol converter operates on a supply voltage between 10 and 35V DC and also features a relay that can be used to transmit faults to an external system.
